Hello Again,
Any of you who follow me on Facebook already know that I’ve been teaching the Yankton Area Arts Association’s KID’S STUDIO classes for the past few weeks with my friend and colleague Sue Hill. They have asked us to continue with classes this summer! The kids are super pumped and I am too. Sue and I are working on more of a structured curriculum for the summer classes. One father of a student even asked me if I taught private lessons. As I am nearing my degree’s completion, I happily said, “Yes.” I will include a “Private Lessons” page on this website after my graduation from Academy of Art University in May of 2014. I encourage kids (and kids at heart) to sign up because art isn’t some mystical thing for which only a chosen few have the talent. Anyone can be creative. Trust me. I’m looking forward to seeing people realize that they made something cool.
I’ve also had a few relatives commission portrait work from me for Christmas gifts and as a silent auction submission. My thanks goes out to them!
Wish me luck on my final class….the dreaded Digital Illustration *insert scary pipe organ sound here* ha ha. With enough guidebooks on Photoshop, anything is possible:)
Best,
Jessi
P.S. Although I’ve had one more survey-taker, I still need quite a few more of you to take the short market research survey in order to better prepare for professionalism. The link is located in the right-hand column of my website http://www.jessikoch.com. Thank you!
